SMS consent and opt-in proof

This page documents how SnypShare collects consent for transactional text messages sent under the SnypShare brand. These messages are used for secure account access and for requested share delivery. SnypShare does not use this SMS program for marketing or promotional campaigns.

Program summary

What messages are sent

SnypShare sends only transactional text messages tied to account access or requested content delivery.

  • One-time sign-in codes: an existing user enters their email address and actively clicks Text me a code on the SnypShare login screen.
  • Share delivery notifications: a SnypShare sender chooses text delivery for a specific recipient who has already provided a mobile number for project access or communication.

Message frequency varies by user activity. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Consent flows

How consent is collected

1. One-time sign-in codes

  1. 1. The user visits the public SnypShare login page.
  2. 2. The user enters the email address associated with their SnypShare access.
  3. 3. The user actively clicks Text me a code.
  4. 4. SnypShare sends a one-time authentication code only to the saved mobile number already associated with that email.
By requesting a texted sign-in code, the user consents to receive a one-time transactional SMS for account access.

2. Share delivery notifications

  1. 1. A SnypShare user adds or maintains a recipient mobile number for project access notifications.
  2. 2. The sender explicitly chooses text delivery for that recipient when sharing access to content.
  3. 3. SnypShare sends a transactional text containing the requested access details under the SnypShare brand.
These texts are sent only for specific requested access notifications, identify SnypShare as the program brand, and are not used for promotional messaging.
